The transmission of the virus, from environmental prospective, is based on the respiratory droplets transmitted from one patient to another. It is an airborne viral transmission.
The safety measures in this facility are important not only for the patients but equally important for the medical personal. This is evidence-based information from China's experience where in the fatalities there was a high initial spread of virus between medical personnel.
Therefore, the temporary medical facilities need to be constructed based on the negative pressure isolation room-ICU principals. I suggest the facilities would be constructed without bells and whistles based on the directional airflow, air changes, pressurization, 100% exhaust and filtration.
It is possible to achieve equal results in existing non ICU buildings by simply converting and modifying the existing HVAC systems to achieve the desired safety.
